Today it's a picturesque bay dotted with yachts and fishing boats, with commanding views across the water of the city and the Old Fort. This quiet neighbourhood was one of the first suburbs of the town and it still retains a village feel with its family-run businesses, balconies, bougainvillea, and the smell of fresh laundry swaying in the wind.

Walk for a few minutes and you can be at the waterfront to join the locals for a morning dip off the rocks in the serene blue sea. Within one minute of the house you can find grocers, mini market and bakeries to pick up fresh bread and other supplies.
